Snoop Dogg is working on some “gangsta s**t” for his sequel to 1992 album ‘Doggystyle’.

The US rapper’s debut album is considered a hip hop classic, and Snoop is currently laying down tracks for the sequel with producer Swizz Beats.

Addressing fans in his typical style during a video update, Snoop explained: “This is Snoop Dog coming at you live from the mother*****g stiznudio somewhere with Swizzle.

“He just laced my boots up on my new record. Motherf****r gave me some gangsta s**t, some R ‘n’ B s**t, some hip-hop s**t, some hard s**t, some mean s**t.”

The ‘Sensual Seduction’ rapper added the new record would include “18 shots to the face”, or up to 18 new tracks and will be called ‘Doggystyle II: The Doggymentury’.

Snoop has also previously said Katy Perry will appear on the record, after he did a guest rap on her single ‘California Gurls’, which was released earlier this summer.

He said: “We’re trying to get together and do something on my new album, so I’m definitely in contact with her.

“She’s a sweet girl and I had fun making the record with her. Like I said, I’m looking forward to her being on my record as well.”
