In recent times, it has been discovered that serious competition has evolved between Intel and AMD (Advanced Micro Devices). These brands are makers of processors used in computers ranging from desktops, notebooks, laptops to desktop replacement notebooks. The rivalry has been on for a long time but due to enlightenment and increase demand for sophisticated technology, the rivalry has become intense. Both brands release new processors every now and then, thereby trying to outdo each other in satisfying consumer needs and demand. Because these are just the two brands manufacturing processors, the race to satisfy consumers is sometimes at the consumers’ detriment.


Both brands have their area of expertise which makes it difficult for the ordinary consumer to make the right choice in choosing what best suits their needs. We will be looking further into the products both brands manufacture and the qualities they possess. In order to determine what best suits your needs, there are so many factors that need to be considered. Such factors include the purpose for you needing the computer, How often you will be using the computer, the kind of environment you will be using the computer and so many other factors.
People go to the market hoping to get help from sellers of different computer systems who only for their own selfish interest take such buyers for a ride by advising to buy what they actually don’t need. I have falling victim once but hope to help others no to do the same.
