U.S. Economy GDP: $13Trillion/ year
Nigerian Senator entitlement: $1,500,000/year
Nigerian Economy GDP: $45 Billion/year
And they want more. Doctors, teachers, civil servants can’t boast of N1m a year and these guys are now calling for an upward review of their entitlements. Unarguably, the current salary package of our senators is too outrageous.
