Several decades ago,Germany’s exclusive textile mills had a special and unique rooms dedicated to weaving the world’s finest lace.Each room was dark,except for the light falling from a small window onto the weavers work.That’s because lace is more beautiful when the weaver is in darkness and his works is in the light.Usually God’s purposes are REVEALED AND HIS POWER DISPLAYED,in our darkness experiences when there seems to be no more rhyme or reason.This is my experience with cancer.It became a blessing in disquise.How you may ask?
1*IT KEEPS ME ON TARGET.-Before my experience with cancer ,I found myself pulled in a dozen different directions,spending much of my time and energy on things I don’t eally care about.But now things has changed as I I HAVE LEARNT THE POWER OF FOCUS.Now, unlike beforre by the grace of GOD, I am not living my life anyhow’ like most people in the world who don’t know what they want, and are willing to go through hell to get it.’
2*IT HAS INCREASE MY ENERGY-Attempting EVERYTHING, like attempting nothing,will suck the life out of you.That was what I was doing before.But not now. A wise man said ‘FEW MEN COME ANYWHERE near exhausting the resources dwelling within them.There are deep wells of strenght that are never used’.I KNOW WHAT I CAN DO AND HOW TO RELEASE THE STRENGHT TO DO IT WITHOUT MUCH STRUGLE.I CAN pray more than before,have compassion than before,emotionally and spiritually stable than I could ever imagagine five or six years ago.This was a gift given to me by cancer.
3*IT LIFTS ME UP-It’s been said that the ‘world stands aside to let anyone PASS, who knows where he or she is going’.In a sea of mediocrity,just knowing what you want to do and making an effort to PURSUE it,distinguishes you from almost everybody else.Just by striving to become better than you,you must become elevated even if you don’t accomplish what you desire,and even if others don’t step aside for you.By trusting God and aiming HIGHER,YOU MOVE TO A HIGHER LEVEL…..This is my story.
