A reason to hope again

Its amazing to note that it would take just a few very visible things to etch your name forever in the annals of history of this great nation.its either our leaders have refused to see this or they have been blinded by their selfish lust for money and the frivolous looting of government coffers. As hard as it may sound, fix power and you would have fixed three-quarters of this nation’s problems as it would trigger a chain of change effects such as in individual lives, economically, manufacturing wise, foreign investment, improved modern transportation, highlighting a few things on the unending list.Hold credible elections and nigeria would never forget you.Run government with a firm commitment for zero tolerance against corruption especially with an hands-on approach by creating avenues for prosecution of perpetrators with no exclusive reserve for ‘big fishes’ or ‘sacred cows’.Do the uttermost to provide employment by building factories and enabling research with very attractive rewards for innovative ideas.this is especially applicable to the large number of graduates roaming the streets without a future.Harnesss our vast and dynamic human resource for positive ends.Agriculture has always been our niche until we abandoned it for crude oil,we can revive this sector by putting to good use so much land available by the express roads in various parts of the country just wasting away and numerous graduates of agriculture and its related fields.Another very significant point is the rapid development of rural areas to discourage urban exodus and encourage people to go back to invest in the country side knowing that basic infrastructure such as electricity, good roads, communication and broadcast stations are available as is obtainable any where else in the country including the capital and other very developed areas. These are a few things which could give us a reason to hope again and write the name of whoever does them permanently on the sands of time.
