A smile literally means to make pleasant expression with mouth, to raise the corners of the mouth in an expression of an amusement, pleasure or approval, to appear to be in a state of happiness or enjoying good fortune or pleasure. Putting on a smile speaks a lot about the state of mind of a person and the level of confidence that the wearer of the smile portrays. “Smiles can heal wounds and break boundaries” it is just like the adage which says the way you dress is the way you are addressed. If you frown a lot, you are automatically telling people not to dare cross your path and how bitter and sad you are inside. People do not want associate with people that will cause unhappiness for them or people that would affect them with their bitterness, they merely associate with people who show traits of happiness in them.
Most of the time people try to improve the things around them. They make arrangement of the things in their room, in the house, in office. They try to dress well. They use a lot of cosmetics and other things, but most of the people miss the most important factors of improvement. These two factors are smile and confidence. If you don’t have confidence in yourself then no one else can have confidence in you, and if you can’t smile then people will have less attraction in you and you’ll not be able to impress anybody.
Smile is the most obvious factor of influence. If you don’t keep a smile on your face, you’ll always feel bored, and tired. Nevertheless, if you keep a genuine smile on your face, you’ll feel good about yourself, and about the things around you. You’ll start attracting more people, instead of repelling them. People would like to talk to you and would like to sit with you.
There are several benefits one can gain from wearing a smile; a beautiful smile will make you seem more attractive. What might be surprising is that your smile might make you seem more intelligent, happy, and successful. It also leads to the attraction of the opposite sex because people want to associate with happy people and because of the level of curiousity that we humans portray, people want to know why you are always happy and joyous. So they grab any chance of chatting or going out with you.
No matter, how much expensive dresses you wear, and how much expensive cosmetics you use, you’ll not be able to impress anybody until you show confidence and smile. So, always try to have a smile on your face, and feel confident even in the worst times. If you’re not very much used to with smiling, you can try it infront of mirror, you’ll learn it very soon and it’ll remain on your face naturally. And as far as confidence is concerned just try to say yourself from time to time, ‘I am confident…I feel confident…!’
