In this age when appearance means so much, people would not want to have anything to do with anyone unless they come well packaged. Much focus is given to what we can see. There has never been a time in the history of mankind that people are so engrossed in the outward appearance instead of the inward person than it is now. People want to be associated with people with interesting personalities. Virtually in every aspect of life, people are easily attracted to such people. In the church for instance, they accord them leadership position simply because they can carry people along. In the corporate setting, they easily ascend leadership position. Practically in every sphere of life people are easily drawn to them.
Once, I watched a firm. The girl that featured in that film had two suitors from her local church coming around her. One of them was an interesting personality. He was outgoing, lively and good looking. In fact, he had charisma. But the other one had character. These two men both had intentions. While the second one genuinely loved her and intended to settle down with her in marriage, the first one’s intention was to lure her into sex and add her to his long list of conquest. He never had any mention of settling wither or any other woman in the immediate future. This he revealed to his friend who asked to know his intentions towards this wiles, because to her every girl needed someone presentable not timid. The end result was that he drugged her and slept with her after which she got pregnant without even knowing. He had gotten three other girls pregnant too.
