A major,biological characteristic of men is their sex-drive.The male human has a natural ability in producing millions of male sex gametes(a.k.a. sperm cells) each of which has an equal chance and natural propensity of becoming an offspring.Funny God didn’t create millions of eggs too to be fertilized.
This nature of men has come to see them as being ‘always right’ where sex issues are concerned.This is a common perception holding grounds on multi-societal and diverse backgrounds.Infact the man is meant to enjoy sex while ,for the woman, who cares?…….definately not when her societal niche as the weaker vessel holds a lot of ground.
Thus it becomes right of passage to manhood for a boy to lose his virginity.Then and only then is he seen as a man in the real sense of the word..If only that is what makes a man…ehn?…..hmmn.
However for the woman,the opposite is the case…a loss of her virginity before marriage is even a taboo especially in societies like the African one where marriage as a virgin is seen as a huge accomplishment and nothing less is viewed with disdain and discontent……..
