The Nigerian Red Cross Society believes that more that 1000 children have become orphan due to religious and sectarian clashes in north of the country. Bauchi state is high on the list of casualties as high as 1000. Up to 400n women became widows due to the same clashes. Especially the Boko Harm crisis of last year.
