This week, the United Nations GAID leaders are playing host to Nigeria’s Nkedilim Uwaje as she will be part of helping to organise the World Summit Youth Award scheduled to hold at the United Nations Headquarters, New York City from September 18 to September 22.
The World Summit Youth Award is a showcase to the world for young e-content creators, journalists and writers, application designers and technologists as well as a contribution to addressing poverty, protecting the environment, sharing knowledge and empowering young people.
Nkedilim, a Nigerian, is the daughter of Nigeria’s ICT impresario, Mr. Chris Uwaje.
This year’s winners include 2 Nigerians, both runners up – Mr. Ikegwuonu Nnaemeka, for his project, “The Smallholders Farmers Rural Radio”; and Mr. Dotun Adewunmi for his project titled “Mother Nature”.
