Nigeria is a country that has come a very long way, definitely not the oldest in the world but one that has got a history filled with unending drama. These last fifty years can be referred to as a practical picture of very mixed fortunes. A country that started out as a very promising one with diverse mineral resources, dynamic and excellent human resource and very realistic dreams of being the typical and true giant of Africa not just in words but in every facet of its deeds.Having the capacity in population size, the natural endowment of mineral resources encapsulated within the limits of its borders, and a very promising outlook to life as a country especially after independence; one would wonder where it all went wrong.
