Nigerian policemen, the new generation of arrogant “beggers”.

People sometimes find it difficult to distinguish between “bribing” and “giving alms”. But,the difference is very clear:Bribes are given to a person to corrupt his judgement or ask for his favour while alms are given to the poor/needy. So,from the above definitions,Are nigerian police(checking points) collecting alms or bribes? I think they are “beggers” because whether your particulars are intact or not,you will still 20naira/50naira. So,not only culprits are exploited at checking points. Besides, that amount is too small to be called a bribe. 20naira now represents Nigerian driving licence. But,they are a very special type of beggers, the arrogant and stubborn type. They point guns at their benefactors.
I think police at checking points should be carrying plates instead of guns. Because, all they do at the their is collecting alms. Therefore, they need the plates to store their “alms”… Lets i forget, they should be praying for the motorist after collecting alms from them.
Do you now agree with me that policemen are official arrogant beggers?
