1-Always check that your tape recorder is working properly and that you have enough free tape.

7-Never engaged in a debate,trying to sway thier opinion.If someone holds a contentious opinion,put it to them that people in general might find those view unpalatable-not that you do.
8-dont be coy and come away without asking something important because it make you feel uncomfortable or prying.But if the person seems relunctant to answer,dont press the issue.
