They must be fortunates
Living in such absolute conditions
Void of pollution,
Lacking corruption
And free from the agents of denudation
Oh! Life in its purest form
I can only imagine it
Yet! It once was
But just for the first generation
Alteration! Alteration!! Alteration!!!
They altered it
We’re altering it
And more lie in wait
All in a bid to conquer it
An irreversible process was ignited
Now ‘artificial’ is the word for our world
Ah! If only we’d known
Nothing exceeds like excess
Now ‘foul smelling and disgusting’ is our world
Yet! Once it was untainted
Such lack of competence in maintenance
Rehabilitation is an imagination and nothing more
What could we have done?
We are but tools in the hands of nature
At least, the law of entropy must be obeyed-
“things always seem to get worse”
