Good things certainly don’t come easy as they would say. Just as it is not easy to come by good things it is not easy to come by a great relationship. A great relationship is not wished for, but worked for. Some people think they can actually have a wonderful relationship without lifting a finger to make it work. There are actually people that have had the most wonderful relationship and such people have testified that if there was anything like another life, they would still want to be married to their present spouse. This testimony is coming from one who has loved and has been equally loved back in return. She has not just loved and been loved back but has been sumptuously loved back so that she is basking in the euphoria of such love. But she didn’t fold her hands to be given such sumptuous love; she has equally given back selflessly rather than held back.
Some feel that money is what sustains love in a relationship, but this is not wholly true. Money might be a defense as the Bible teaches but what keeps the fire of love burning is passion. Passion is what keeps the relationship going after every other thing wears out. It is the sustaining power behind a relationship. Some people explains passion as zeal But the dictionary explains it as a strong feeling of enthusiasm for something. Enthusiasm has to do with being too eager or being too ready to do something.
Just as the oil is needed for the engine of any automobile to keep running, so passion is needed in a relationship for it to blossom. Passion makes you look forward to coming back home to your spouse, it makes you eager to spend time with him or her, wake up in the morning to look lovingly into his or her face. Passion would make a career man or woman not to be too busy to spend quality time with the spouse, remember those little things that puts a smile on your partner’s face like handing out gifts once a while. Passion makes you enthusiastic and vibrant about everything that has to do with your relationship
