PARADOX OF TIME

“Time sure changes things”. It was during the last lecture for this just conclude semester when my favourite lecturer Dr Arinze, said to us “when I was a student in the University, I used to sit in the front row and watch the lecturers closely, when lectures are going on. I looked straight and wish I were a lecturer. Now, I look straight at my students and wish I was still a student.”

Being at the right place at the right time makes all the difference. How important is timing?

The fact that we’re in Institution of leaning shows that we want to grow and get somewhere. Like most of us, you want to get there as fast as you can. But one thing worthy of note is that too swift is ultimately too slow. Haste slows every dream and opens the door to failure. “The more haste, the less speed”.

One of the most frequent causes of failure is impatience in waiting for results. Whoever is in a hurry shows that the things he is doing are too big for him. Impatience is one big headache.

“There is time to get things happen and time to make things happen”. Life is lived in season which means, we are to do different things at different times.

Paradox of time says “the way to get more done is to do less better” the more we try to be all things to everybody, the greater we end up being a nobody to everybody.
