Malaria is a menace in our society today despite measures taken at combating the ugly phenomena by various health organizations; families still suffer great deal from the disease.

Mosquitoes are known to be the carriers of this deadly disease <malaria> which had defied many attempts made towards total eradication of malaria ranging from series of programs by the various government aimed towards combating malaria, researches by the pharmaceutical industries in producing anti-malaria drugs, efforts by chemical industries in producing mosquito repellant which in some cases end up acting as a mere perfume to mosquitoes.

There’re many ways to deal with mosquitoes in relation, to reducing the spread of malaria in homes and the society at large. Understanding the almighty mosquito, will help you control their population.

Mosquitoes are worse at night; they lay their eggs in standing water, the larva then live in the water until they’re able to fly. So, how do you control them naturally?

The most effective way of combating this agent, is by keeping our environment clean. A clean environment is a healthy one. Mosquitoes breed and multiply in a dirty environment, therefore for us to be free from malaria we have to keep our environment, homes and surroundings clean. Ensure that there is no stagnant water in our gutters, and in our surroundings. Avoid planting water building plants like pineapples and maize around our homes. Clear bushes around our homes and engage in a routine weekly or monthly sanitation of our surroundings.

The fear of malaria, is the beginning of a clean environment, therefore let us ensure a safe and clean environment so as to live a healthy life.
