After a girl’s 13th birthday that she can be classified as a teenager, the next birthday she looks forward to is her 16th birthday.
At 16, a girl becomes a lady. She has attained puberty; she is out or almost out of secondary school. She is more cautious of her looks and what people especially guys say about her. She believes she is old enough to have a boyfriend or has a guy that she has a crush on or in love with. Little details seem to matter in everything. The way she talks, walks, looks, eats, sleeps, drinks etc. In America, a 16 year old can get a driver’s license. It is because of all the things involved in turning 16 that they call a girl at sixteen, “SWEET SIXTEEN”.
Does this mean that at clocking 17, she is no more sweet? Someone told me on my 16th birthday, “You won’t be sixteen for long but you can always be as sweet as you ever want to be”.
This implies always feeling young at heart, smiling always to make your face relax and not age fast, watch your diet, do exercise and being cautious of everything you do. You should also keep dreaming because it is dreams that make us want to see another day. It is dreams that make us achieve more in life and be the best we can ever be!!!
