It is possible for a first date or a blind date to lead to marriage proposals over time. It all depends on the personality and attitude of both parties. These are some of the Do’s and Don’ts on a first date.
DON’T: Talk about intentions of having sex on a first date.
DON’T: Burden the other person with your problems.
DON’T: Under rate yourself on a first date, shows you are not confident.
DON’T: Ask for financial assistance on a first date.
DON’T: Make flirtous remarks or be rude on a first date.
DON’T: Sound desperate to settle down and marry on a first date.
DON’T: Use vulgar languages, does not make you look responsible.
DON’T: Ask/receive a kiss or have sex on a date. This way, the person will have something to look forward to which will lead to a second date.
DON’T: Expect too much from the other person.
DO: Dress nice and charming depending on the place of the first date.
DO: Admire and make pleasant remarks of your date and don’t emphasis it.
DO: Give a listening ear; it will make the person feel special.
DO: Ask the other person’s opinion when buying the meal or choice of activity.
DO: Something memorable that the other person will never forget.
DO: Keep smiling no matter what is killing you inside!
DO: Make the other feel important and you feel honoured to be with him/her.
DO: You can end the date with a handshake or side hug.
DO: Take him/her as he/she is, this way you won’t misconstrue the person.
