It is no longer news that video games have taken its place as a key factor in the mental growth and development of children in developing and developed countries. Video games are no longer seen as distraction to the education of children. Rather they are seen as a very important educational kit that is loved by all children. In fact, video games such as Tactical Iraqi is not only played by children but have gone on to become a learning simulator for army personnel and career diplomats. There are also games like Solitaire and chess which teaches the importance of strategic decision making at tender ages. Most of these video games are very cheap to afford while others are freely available so that the cost of purchase is not seen as a problem for parent on low income. There are video games that have stood the test of time running to decades with an amazing number of Faithfull’s. Some of the best video games of all time are Grand Theft Auto II, III, IV. There are also the God of war III, Pirate of the Caribbean, Soul Calibur, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. As a matter of fact, these video games top the chart in the ranks of “the best of the best in video games”.
Grand Theft Auto IV;
This is an action-cum-adventure 3D video game developed by Rockstar North in her sixth edition of the Grand Theft Auto series released in 2008. This video game is available for PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.The game tells the story of war hero seeking to avenge the betrayal of his command unit by a member. The video game scrapped the major awards for the year 2008 including “Action Game of the year” by Time and MTV. Also in its possession is the award of “ Best Multi-platform Game” by Giant Bomb.
Pirates of the Caribbean;
Pirates of the Caribbean originally named Sea Dogs II, was released in 2003 by Bethesda Softwork to coincide with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. The video game features the movie’s storyline about cursed Aztec gold and undead pirates.
Pirates of the Caribbean-The Legend of Jack Sparrow had players assuming the role of Captain Jack Sparrow. The video game was released just before its first movie which increases the curiosity of gamers.
