It was celebration galore in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital on friday as a result of the victory of the ACN governorship candidate in the 2007 poll. Dr kayode Fayami was declared winner at the court of appeal Ilorin. The people of the state were seen discussing in groups, even at government offices, ministries, motor parks and market places. The discussion soon metamorphosed into victory songs when they heard that kayode had won one of the most controversial election in the history of Nigeria.The people were seen dancing around the major streets of Ado-Ekiti, chanting victory songs, most of them holding brooms as the symbol of the ACN party. Okada peopole were not left behind, as they ride their bike acrobatically in jubiliation. Oni looking unruffle were supervised by the security operatives in packing his personal belongings.
