PDP and the gamble with incumbency

If there is something i have come to find out about nigerian politics over the last eleven years, it is the fact that the man who sits at the top especially as president or governor often holds all the aces on their various pedestals. You would definitely find this most common in the people’s democratic party which has been the ruling party all these years of our most recent sojourn into democracy.Of very keen interest is the way their current issue of zoning is playing out, where the north is trying to scheme out the incumbent by crying foul with the issue of zoning;but in my mind i laugh knowing that the PDP would not even consider denying president goodluck jonathan the ticket at the expense of him defecting to their major opposition in order to win an election where he already has the sympathy of the ‘Nigerian people’ making it totally impossible for the PDP to perpetrate its trademark indecent acts of cheating and also at the expense of losing their fraud ridden majority in the nigerian polity.it makes forĀ  very interesting viewing as the drama of who gets the nod which symbolises the ticket eventually gets to its nadir,or what you would call the zenith.we all wait quite expectantly.
