The Nigeria institution of mechanical engineers has called on the national youth service corp not to deploy corps members who studied engineering to secondary schools for teaching , instead the institute tasked the NYSC to deploy engineers corpers to the relevant industries for them to acquire practical skills. The president Nigeria institution of engineers, mr A.B Oyedepo, who spoke at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-ife on tuesday during the inauguration of the OAU student chapter of the association, explain that it was an anomaly to post graduate engineers to secondary school to teach . On the other hand, corps members that studied computer science should be post to ICT. This will boost the ICT sector in the country. Meanwhile, other disciplines are not left behind. NYSC , government, ministries should do something concerning this issue.
