I think i have read to many Mills&Boon novels to last me three life times. Even though i am a bit more jaded and wordly wise,some part of me still believes in the myth of ‘Happily ever after”.
Every woman out there whether she wants to admit it or not is looking for her,Prince charming,Knight in shining armour.….bla bla bla.Do these men actually exist? i really wonder.Are we doomed to just ‘settle’ for whatever comes our way or is there really ‘the one’. I doubt this because according to many reports the ration of women to men is like 4:1. So that man that you call your soul mate is probably three other women’s soul mate as well. I am not in anyway supporting Polygamy, believe me ,i hate to share just like the next woman.
Not to deviate from the point.How do you know when he or she is the one? Does a light bulb go up in your head or you suddenly hear romatic music? Do you feel a rush of attraction because if thats it, i must have met six different ‘the one’s’.
People can be so deceiving and can have all the attributes that you are looking for and suddenly change right before your eyes.A woman can be sweet like an angel and when she gets that ring on her Finger and turn into a Banshee. A man might sweep you of your feet during courtship and begin to sweep the floor with you when you get married.
I think the only sure way to find ‘the one’ OR the next best thing is to pray and pray and pray.God is the only one that can find the one for us all.
