hmmmmmmm….. does it sound farmiliar to you? I can remeber when I was four years younger than this; I would tell my friends I cannot keep a long distance relationship not to talk of a marriage over a thousand mile. But later I realised, you dont have to choose this type of relationship it chooses you. I have yet to meet anyone who set out to purposely find someone living hundreds of miles away, but you might meet someone while on vacation or business travels or he/she might be transferred. And when cupid’s arrow hits, there’s no turning around.
Whether you are leaving on a plane or your lover is leaving with a promise and you feel a part of you is about to leave without an assurance of his/her coming back to you, there are ways to make the distance look shorter than it is.
Long distance relationship can work,it only requires planning and a little extra effort. Plan a means of communication and try as much as possible not to default,(you can chat and even see yourselves on skype, yahoo messenger and so on) trust one another, pray for yourselves, try as much as possible to make your spouse live in your world.reassure each other of your love and affection……
Long distance relationships have its advantage too.It brings fondness and when you know there is someone at the other side willing to wait for you, you would look forward to seeing your love again.
When the distance comes, embrace it,make the best use out of it,try to be a better person for your love and stick to the decion you made to love him/her.
Love you.
