The Nigerian Women, especially the younger group have totally lost it. They tend to see their outward appearance as their real beauty, which have led to greater challenges in their relationships. Some weeks back I was listening to a Radio Station in Lagos where the Presenter gave her encounter with a guy she had a chat with. She said the few minutes she spent with the guy; he got more than 30 missed calls. When asked why he refused to pick his call, the explanation he gave was shocking. According to the guy, he met a lady, who he find very attractive and beautiful. But he fell out with this lady when he asked her of her strength. The lady happily responded that her strengths are: her height, hair, face, colour and smile. These the guy didn’t find comfortable, which eventually ends the relationship. This lady failed to understand true beauty.
Years back in school, I had a course mate who we all find extremely beautiful. She had all the outward features most men will call beauty. On one faithful day, during a normal chatting period, she told me that she will never lack a husband. When I inquire why she made that statement, she simply said: ‘You know no say I fine well well? Any man when see me must want to marry me’ Ten years down the line, she is yet to get married. If her outward beauty is the true beauty, then she should be in her husband house by now.
Ladies, don’t be deceived by your outward beauty. Yes, its good to be presentable in the outside, but the beauty that stands the test of time is that person inside of you. The outside beauty will definitely fade away, but your inner beauty will NEVER fade. That was why the Holy Scripture recorded that God looks at the inside because He knows there reside the true beauty.
Build your INNER BEAUTY and enjoy your relationship.
