Dressing Tips

In the ever changing world of fashion there are commandments to be followed and here are some because in your future; dressing awaits and to get in you’ve just got to look the part.

  1. Wear only t shirt bras with t shirts. Your lacy bra simply does not do because it shows.
  2. Shirts are meant to show about an inch beyond your suit’s cuff.
  3. Black and navy blue is the colour expected of your suit in a formal setting. Anything else is informal.
  4. For shoes in a formal setting the only colour appropriate is black.
  5. Your belt must have the same colour with your shoe.
  6. Your socks must have the same colour with your trouser.
  7. T- shirts are best worn under your shirts . it’s been known to fit better.
  8. Patterned ties should be worn with plain shirts. Vice versa.
  9. Polish your shoe like a soldier. Till your reflection shoes on it.
  10. Make sure press your wears; it makes a whole lot of difference.
  11. When wearing a suit endeavour to wear pocket squares.
  12. Short or average heighted persons can wear striped suits and shirts. It will make them look taller.
  13. Make sure your shirt’s sleeves don’t extend over your wrist. Their business stops there.
  14. Belts come in sizes. Wear your size as your belt is not expected to go round your waist after pegging the buckle.
  15. Your wardrobe must contain at least 2 white shirts
  16. And 2 sky blue shirts.
  17. When formally dressed endeavour to wear leather or stainless steel strapped watches.
  18. Always leave the lowest button on your suit undone.
  19. Black bags are expected of ladies when formally dressed.
  20. Your suit should not be too tight or too loose. It must give the wearer enough space and comfort to move in them.
