“Every success worth remembering in life is stained by the blood of diligence, tears of disappointments, scars of failure and wounds of experience.” In your quest to succeed in life, you must always remember the golden law: “Thou must be challenged.” A man of vision and purpose must be persistent. Why? The test of success is in the intimidation of challenges and occurence of distractions.
A man who is not persistent will fret away at the sight of distractions and challenges. I have defined persistence as being stubborn with purpose. Persistence is the brother of passion. They go hand in hand. “When the going gets tough, only the tough gets going.” A persistent man is a focused man. He is always at it, regardless of circumstances and predicament. He never takes ‘NO’ for an answer. He believes in his dreams and follows his passion diligently. Little wonder why he will always succeed. You must not seek repose. Keep on keeping on! Soldier on!! Once you have found your purpose, don’t compare yourself with others. Stick to your dream and finetune your strategies. If you keep being persistent about your dream, you will eventual emerge a champion.
However, it’s important to tell you that while you are persisting on a goal, wrong methods and approaches must be noted and changed. You can’t be a persistent failure. Repeating the same thing absolutely in the same way is not persistence. Persistence is pursuing the same goal while refining the strategies and methods.Give life what it takes and you’ll get what it contains.
