THE MOTIVATION OF REAL CHAMPIONS

It is a known fact that the sound of the clock is loudest when everywhere is quiet but it is almost never heard when everywhere is noisy. This would paint an ideal picture of a local champion who would naturally feel that there is nothing else to conquer after their immediate environment. It thus defies the norm for real champions who look forward to overcoming more challenges with the belief that the more difficulties you tackle, the greater they become.

A champion is one who has either won a fight in principle or a competition but a real champion motivated by this will desires to conquer more ground and expand their territory .Thus it is justified by the saying that “winners are those who do not quit and the quitters are those who do not win”. This is practically so because a quitter has nothing more to fight for, but real winners always have something new to fight and another hurdle to scale..

In very simple terms, life is about encountering challenges, but until we overcome them we never get to be called champions; a people seen to have scaled various hurdles at different stages of life without the option of quitting as a decision to quit may  just be a decision to die. The very interesting thing about this whole matter is that a decision  to stick it out to the end, that is not giving up very often leads  to finding a way of overcoming these hurdles and coming through as real champions eventually.

It is only beneficial to realise that ‘life is like riding a bicycle, if you do not stop, you would never fall off’. This effectively is the motivation of real champions, the will to never give up no matter how daunting the circumstance looks; coupled with faith in God and hard work. The tactics clearly are ‘staying focused’ and ‘seeing through impossibilities’, because they are walls meant to be seen through.
