COMPETENCE

COMPETENCE: Being well equipped at doing something. If you want to be separated from the rest, you must be able to do whatever it is you do WELL. Competence separates you from the rest.
Palaces are not meant for mediocre, it is meant for excellent oriented people. If you are not an expert in a particular thing, you might not make much impact on earth. There is therefore a need for all to improve.
Being Competent
• You must ensure that you subject yourself to continuous practice of that particular area you want to be competent in. Practice makes prominence; it does not just make perfect. You cannot become competent with being a practitioner at what you do. What you are used to is what makes you stand out in the market place.
Read good books in that area. You can be competent in being a husband or father, competent at your place of work, competent in reading the word of God, competent in praying etc.
While developing competence, you must also realize that it goes hand in hand with Charisma.
Developing Charisma
Charisma: Personal attraction that enables you to influence others circumstances, things, situation in achieving your goals.
Your ability to attract respect and admiration is very crucial to your achievement and success fulfillment.
Developing a Successful Competence
Self Image: The ways you look and project yourself to be. People perceive you before they receive or hear you.
Your Grooming Habit: You must look good on the outside. Take good care of yourself.
Cleanliness is next to godliness. Your personal grooming promotes an atmosphere of either attraction or rejection. Take pain to make your appearance positive because people’s perception will be affected and your chance for successfulness would be increased.
Look Successful: Dress forward and not backward.
Always wear a smile: Because when “You smile, you go miles”.
Look good: Spiritually, Physically and Professionally.
