What could have possesed her?
Thats the question that popped into my head,when i heard about the lady that had the ‘guts’ to enter a mosque and try to convert muslim faithfuls observing their friday prayers and during the month of RAMADAN to boot.
I simply cannot understand such agressive and brazen tactics used by some of the christians that try to convert others into christainity. I understand the need to see your ranks swell but cant you respect the fact that people have the right to CHOOSE how they want to serve their God.
At first,when i heard about the incident,i am ashamed to admit that i would have loved to see the girl beaten black and blue. Then i stopped myself and thought about it,would that not buttress the point that ISLAM is a violent religion. A lot of ignorant people have the wrong impression about being a muslim. We all are woshipping the same God,we just go about it, in different ways.
I do not talk about religion but i would love a day when people would take the pains to try to understand other religions and not jump into conclusions.
I would take being Godly,Respectful and kind than being religious anyday. We need to give Religion a break and try to be better human beings irrespective of how we worship our creator. Religion has caused so many wars in the history of humanity,so we need to rethink and place less emphasis on whether you are a muslim,christian or hindu and Love one another no matter your religion,race or nationality.
