I woke up this morning,on a bright note just like some people did.On the inside,I felt great bustling with energy for a new day has come.I rose to face the challenges of the day as they come.Then i remembered, i had a dream and in my dream i saw myself counting Billions of NAIRA.I was sweating profusing, As i counted, the money was endless.then i heard a voice say to me in the dream”IT’S ALL YOURS,IF YOU LIKE”…Hey,i embraced the money with all my might as i thought of all the goodies my billions can get me.Then i woke up,to reality with the beeping of the alarm on my phone.It was all a Dream i said,However during my quiet recession on my way to work,I discovered that most Nigerians are sleep walking,and suffering from MONEY FEVER…OH YES it doesn’t matter,that the person woke up in the morning,took his shower,dressed up neatly and has his eyes wide open,NO it doesn’t matter at all,most Nigerians just have FEVER of a particular kind called ”MONEY FEVER”.How do you explain,a person who engages the services of a motor cyclist(OKADA)and demands that the motor cyclist be on top speed because he is late for his appointment.And because the aim of business is to make” MONEY’.The cyclist,willingly agrees to the instruction he is given, and begins to run at top speed,As seen in America ACTION films thereby endangering the lives of other road users.What about the different ”TOLL GATES”one must cross if you are to get government contracts.”KOLA”or”FAMILY SUPPORT”as it is called must drop,beAfore you move to the next level of the contract,This must happen irresp0000000of the quality of your proposal notwithstanding your ability to deliver an acceptable job within the specified time.A look at the streets,will bring your attention to ”MINORS” Who are supposed to be in school or in the comfort of their parent’s home.But are scrounging the streets for financial survival,Indeed there is MONEY FEVER,when some people with stolen wealth are praised and celebrated in our society,then it expected that the young ones stay aside and do nothing to save themselves from impending PENURY,Eventhough some of them employ the wrong means and take to Crime for survival.It all narrow down to Money Fever.The Quest to make Fast Money, has made many to take the Short Cut to Success,But what they don’t know is that???they will end up at the Back Door ”A ROAD TO NO WHERE”.
