PIGEONS AND CHICKENS

PIGEONS AND CHICKENS
They both have their places in their habitat. One, the air, and the other, the plains of the earth. A must it is for pigeons to fly; Chicken’s excuse definitely not as size. Non-the-less they exhibit the same feeding choice and pattern. Feeding on grains and other feed of similar fashion.
But there are cases where they get to flock together, no thanks to heavy rainfall and/or stormy weather. The pigeon suddenly finds itself so close to a Chicken’s cage, both so close like of same species but yet with non-identical plumage. As the popular Yoruba adage says; the rain is the cause of the pigeon’s association with Chickens, and I would add to it by saying; only by wisdom would the Chicken learn the secret behind flying. Yes for sure, it is a once-in-a-life-and-heaven-time opportunity, if only the Chicken can focus on its brain rather than size maturity.

As soon as the pigeon realizes its wings are dry, it takes off back to where it belongs- the sky. The Chicken still so content with its present state never realises how much he has lost in such little time. The chicken continues to enjoy its life with its floor-mates and permanently forfeits the sky view of a life time. Pigeon with no pride yet so high; chicken with pride yet no life- yet no cry.
Never be too proudly satisfied with your level of knowledge. Learn what you can to enable you experience that sky-view that your wings where designed to aid you achieve.
