FOODS THAT PROMOTES INSOMNIA(lack of sleep)

We know how we eat affects how good we feel.But did you also know that your diet can influence how well you sleep?.A GREAT  number of people suffer from sleep problems.These are given below

1*SPICY OR FATTY FOODS. Spicy, sugar, high-protein or high-fat foods eaten late can cause sleep-busting heartburn or indigeston.A STUDY has revealed  that those who ate an evening meal that was high in fat had less deep sleeep.

2*CAFFEINE.It stimulates the central nervous systems and can stay in our systems for eight hours or more.Researchers advise against- drinking coffee after 11am , though some people aren’t sensitive to caffeine.If you are affected by it, be aware that drinks contain varying amounts.A cappuccino contains up to 450mg of caffeine, while a cup of tea has around 80mg.Even decaff coffee contains up to 20mg a cup.Also be remimded that chocolate contains caffeine.

3*CHEESE.Can cheese really give you nightmares ?’ Cheese doesn’t cause nightmares, but can make you more likely to wake during sleep-so you remember your dreams.’

4*ALCOHOL. Alcohol is a sedative and can send you off initially-the thinking behind the traditional ‘nightcap’.Two or three  alcohol can prevent you from getting into deeper stages of sleep.This will mean you’ ll wake in the middle of night an

d feel rubish the next morning.Alcohol is also diuretic, so you’ll wake up needing the loo.
