Man charged for causing hurt
A middle aged man was yesterday arraigned before an Abuja Magistrate Court for allegedly injuring one Chibueze Samuel.
The man, Innocent Ukpebor of Zone 8, Lugbe, Abuja, was accused of conspiring with one Lucky now at large to stab Chibueze with a knife on his back.
Prosecutor Yilkudi Dunja told the court that Chibueze reported to the police that on November 2, he was with his girl friend, when the accused and one Lucky who is now at large entered his house with a knife and stabbed him on the back.
He said the complainant was rushed to the hospital as a result of the injury sustained.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and requested for bail.
Magistrate Hafsat Soso granted the accused bail in the sum of N100,000 with a surety in like sum and adjourned the case.
