WOMAN WANTS HUSBAND BACK AFTER 7 YEARS OF DIVORCE
A middle aged woman, Ngozi Nokar, yesterday told an Abuja Area court that she still loves her and wants to return to him after seven years of divorce.
Ngozi’s husband, Charles Nokar, had approached the court that his wife had divorced him seven years ago but recently parked into his house without his consent or that of his family.
But his wife told the court that she returned to his house because she was still in love with her husband and that she wants to give her children motherly care because her estranged husband has been transferred to Enugu State.
“I moved out of the house in compliance with the court’s order at the last hear if case. I want the court to tell my husband to take me and my children to the village because my family instructed me to ask the court to do that. The land he built a house on is my property and I wanted it back from him” She said
Responding, the man told the court that he and his estranged wife divorced since 2003 and that she had already gotten married to another man whom she has a baby girl for.
“I don’t want her and her love she should leave me and the children alone because she has been causing problems between me and my children since she returned in April.
I am suspicious of her coming back because we never had any problem before she left me for another ma” he said
Judge Issa Alhaji Yahaya ordered the clerk of the court to go and verify if the woman has moved out of the house and also asked her to bring her family member to court if they have anything to say about the issue.
He advised her to file a civil war against her husband to claim her land and adjourned the case to November 25 for hearing
