It has been said from a deductive and inductive reasoning that: “Relationships must be defined and refined if an individual will not be confined by it.” Here below is a list of approaches to refining your relationships.
Love: The greatest approach to refining a relationship is love. Love is the oil that keeps the motion of relationship ongoing. This love is not just an emotion, it is also devotion. One paramount key to keeping a relationship refined is continuous love.
Investigation: Reasonably, investigation goes before investment. One must investigate a relationship before he invests in it. Even, when the relationship is ongoing, the investigation must still continue. This is because people may change. However, if a negative change occurs in a relationship, the individuals involved have the duty to mend the broken areas of the relationship. As time goes on, if the other individual(s) in the relationship fails to change for the better, it might be better for you to relocate if you will not suffocate.
Clear Expectation: A relationship is expected to be a partnership that must be a profit-driven venture. Simply put, both parties are meant to be team players. A relationship with no vivid plus to be derived is not worth your effort. Their must be tangible achievement in every relationship be it short term or long term.
Be Selective: This is where most people get it wrong. Of a truth, you can never be a friend to everyone and everybody can’t be your friend. A relation is not supposed to be presented on the altar of self-pity. Too many friends can be too many distractions. Imagine yourself receiving ten contrary counsels on an issue. I’m sure you won’t be able to think right. Pick only those nuggets of advice that have got what will sharpen and shapen you not those that will fade you and put you in shame.
