HELD AND DANCED

Soft blues evokes the thoughts of two people locked in the theatrics of moving to melodious notes and harmonies that pour out of the instruments. People on stage locks into their own world as hands firmly hold the waist of the partner as they sway through the evening breeze. But how can two dance continually on life stage even in times when the music have long faded, and the only notes that remains is the rhythm of each other’s heartbeat? How can one write so legibly on a dear’s heart when the ink is running dry, and the only ink that remains is that of sacrifice? How can friends hold hands still, in this dark world wh ere seeing is herculean?
Look around and you will find folks who have held each other for decades doing their dance. Have they not had trying times when the music faded? What were they dancing to all this while? Furthermore, check out young relationships, (some are barely five years old). They have become a noisy place that partners have had to quit the dancing stage to get some quiet. My dad taught me how to hold a lady tightly when the music is rich and full and also hold her still when all the rhythm that will remain is the heartbeat and misty breath of a sincere love.

One salient factor that is important if dance will be long is service. Man is the royalty in his own home; picture the king in shining robe, golden throne, crown and scepter, court filled with servants waiting on his beck and call. But the king, who will hold his queen in a wide open wonder amazement on the dance floor, is the one who can come down from his exalted stead and serve in his own home in duties that lofty minds will call menial. A servant king who will help ease her stress away, kiss her fears bye; he will get her to move to his romantic overtures and that in a tight embrace. The lack of vigor on the dance stage in relationships nowadays could be partially due to the dearth of servant kings. Any single who has in his mind a picture of holding his lady in a long romantic sojourn on life’s dance floor should seek the path of servant kingship, by studying role models who have danced and/or are still dancing on the lifes stage with their love locked into their strong muscular arms where she feels safe from fear and harm.
